WEDDING

faqs

What do I wear?

It's an important day for us and we're going to be dressing up so we'd like our guests to do so as well, but we ultimately want everyone to feel comfortable so use your own discretion.  The bride doesn't even care if you wear white.

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors.

Can I bring my boyfriend/girlfriend/cat?

Yay Plus Ones!  We know that all our guests won't necessarily know each other and we want everyone to have a good time so single (or single at the time the invitations go out) guests will be given the option of bringing a guest.  Cats are probably a bad idea though.  Much to the dismay of one of the Bridesmaids.

Can I bring my kid(s)?

Some of our guests are kids and those kids will get an invitation so there's no confusion.  Let's face it, weddings aren't really the optimal setting for tiny people, but we will do what we can to make sure both you and your pint-sized plus one have a good time.

What's for dinner?  I've got dietary restrictions.

We're not sure yet, but it'll be good!  As for those dietary restrictions - let us know.  The sooner the better.  The Bride's got this nifty spreadsheet she's itching to use.  gentink@gmail.com

Can I drink?

There will be a cash bar.  If you're legal feel free to partake.  American friends -- that's 19 here.

Will there be a bouquet toss/cake smush/garter toss?

Short answer: No.  Longer answer: These traditions don't feel right for us.

How much is parking?

Parking is included.  Thank god.
